I received a Promo of the Majikat DVD late Monday afternoon, and I can't say enough about this long awaited DVD. It is amazing in all aspects. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it, in other words this DVD is awesome!

The promo contained the first 4 songs from the Williamsburg concert (The Wind, Moonshadow, Where Do The Children Play and Another Saturday night), which includes Cat Stevens popping out of a magic box stack! (People who attended this concert tour should remember this grand opening.) I was as excited and entranced watching this DVD, as I was when I went to another Majikat concert in 1976.

The visual and audio quality is really impressive, far superiour to any other Cat Stevens concert that has ever been previously produced on TV! You would never guess that this concert is almost 30 years old! And the special effects are unique and impressive as well. You will be intrigued with how they graphically played with each of the Cat Stevens album covers. The Promo also contained a small portion of the 3-part Yusuf Islam interview. Yusuf looks great and is exuberant as he gives us little candid details of each of his LP's, his drawings and even his ego. All in all, I can't wait until this Majikat Concert DVD is released. I am sure it is something that every Cat Fan will want to watch over and over.

So my suggestion when this Concert DVD is released in your area, is to run don't walk to your closest record/video store.
